Manitowoc County UW-Agriculture Alumni Association Scholarship
The Manitowoc County UW-Agriculture Alumni Association Board is pleased to announce that several scholarships will be available for students from Manitowoc County enrolling in agriculture and life sciences majors at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Platteville, RiverFalls, Green Bay or Stevens Point. Examples of eligible majors include traditional production agriculture majors like dairy science, soil science and agronomy. Other majors may also qualify including: biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, forestry, horticulture, environmental science and more. Scholarships for the University of Wisconsin-Madison Farm and Industry Short Course are also available. Scholarships for a degree program will be up to $750 while scholarships for Farm and Industry Short Course will be up to $300. The UW-Ag Alumni Association scholarship is also available to students transferring from a non-agriculture program to an agriculture program at one of the aforementioned colleges. Scholarship application deadline: April 1, 2017.
Manitowoc County Farm Progress Days Donald R. Peterson Scholarship
The Manitowoc County Farm Progress Days Donald R. Peterson Scholarship will be awarded to a deserving individual who has been accepted to a 4-year degree program in an Ag-related field to one of the following Universities: UW-River Falls, UW-Madison, UW-Platteville, or UW-Stevens Point. Scholarship application deadline: April 1, 2017.
