If you are a parent of a child ages 4-7 and your child has experienced any of the following…temper tantrums, trouble making or keeping friends, impatience or interrupting, not listening…then Raising a Thinking Child is for you!

Raising a Thinking Child (RTC) is an evidence-based parenting program for parents and caregivers that was developed and researched by Dr. Myrna Shure. RTC has demonstrated effectiveness in developing interpersonal cognitive problem-solving skills in young children, improving parenting skills and parent-child communication, and in decreasing both impulsive and inhibited behaviors in young children.

This program is facilitated by UW Extension Family Living Educator Kya Diehl and helps you teach your child HOW to think, not WHAT to think. Program is $25 and runs a series of 8 weeks. For more information contact the UW Extension office at 920-683-4168.
